The Challenge
The Goymour Group was seeking a comprehensive training solution for its staff across various departments that included separate entities such as the UK's largest dinosaur-themed adventure park, ROARR! and the tranquil, family-friendly caravan park and campsite, Applewood Countryside Park. They identified a need for a cost-effective online platform to deliver essential compliance training to current and newly hired employees, while also supporting professional development through access to a library of online courses.
Each new member required onboarding to the platform and then allocating core compliance courses related to their specific job role. This process needed to be managed seamlessly by the Health and Safety Manager and with minimal disruption to the businesses and their services during working hours. A key requirement was ensuring that staff who were unfamiliar with online training felt supported throughout the process.
With a diverse portfolio of sites, each with its own training structure, they required a unified solution that could maintain a high standard of training and compliance across the organisations. It was also essential that all training activity could be evidenced and easily demonstrated to the directors.

The Training Management Suite allowed the Health and Safety Manager to enrol staff across the organisation and onboard new employees in line with training requirements. The Training & Compliance Matrix tracked required courses and their frequency, while bespoke rules enabled departmental reporting, these evidence-based insights helped directors recognise the platform’s value to make informed decisions.

Looking ahead, the Goymour Group plans to maintain its current training setup, ensuring continued access to mandatory core courses as well as optional self-development. The measurable value and results achieved have laid a solid foundation for future growth where a license extension has already been actioned in the first year.
