This online training course focuses on working safely in industries where employees may be exposed to cold conditions, including construction, agriculture, transport, food processing, cold storage, and retail. It also looks at the roles and responsibilities of both employers and employees in managing the risks associated with cold working.

Working in cold temperatures poses significant risks to worker health and safety. Whether employees are working outdoors during winter months or in refrigerated environments such as cold stores and food processing facilities.

Being able to identify and recognise the early warning signs of cold stress is essential for employees who regularly work in low-temperature environments, as early action can prevent serious harm.
