This Health and Safety for Homeworkers Training is an ideal course for those who work at home, whether this is on a full time or part-time basis. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, working from home became a necessity for many people across the country. Now, this has become a normal way of working for many people, as there are huge benefits for people's work/life balance.

Just like working in an office, working from home still holds its own risks and hazards. It may be easy to disregard these health and safety risks, as your home may feel like a familiar and safe environment. However, caution and awareness should still be upheld to ensure that the safety and well-being of yourself and others that you may share your home with is protected.

This course will help employees to gain knowledge and awareness on how to conduct a 5-step risk assessment in their home to identify the risks and hazards within their working environment. It also looks at how employees can achieve a good work/life balance, which provides benefits for both mental and physical health.
