This First Aid at Work Course is ideal online training for employees looking to acquire basic First Aid training for their workplace. This course explains ways of reducing the risks and in the event of an incident, be familiar with the immediate procedures needed to administer CPR and what is the correct recovery position, all with the help of video driven scenarios.

As part of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, employers are required to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work.

An Introduction to First Aid in the Workplace
This section introduces you into why we should have first aiders in the workplace

Module 1 - First Aid Provisions
In this section you will cover, the basic provisions required by law, employers’ considerations, contents and storage of first aid boxes and first aider roles.

Module 2 - Procedures in First Aid
In this section you will cover assessing the situation, common workplace injuries, basic life support the recovery position and performing CPR.

Module 3 - First Aid for Medical Emergencies
In this section you will cover recognising and managing medical emergencies, such as strokes, head injuries and respiratory first aid.

Assessment
On completion of the course lessons and training material an online assessment will automatically unlock. The assessment will contain 15 multiple-choice questions and a mark of 75% or above will be required to pass.
The assessment will be marked instantly and so you will know straight away if you have passed or not. If you don't pass first time there's no need to worry. Unlimited resits at absolutely no additional charge are available so you can retake the assessment again as many times as you need to.
First Aid at Work Certification
