  • Name the 13 protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010

Training Course Content

This course is made up of the following modules:

  • An Introduction to Conflict Management

    This section introduces the learner to the course and looks at the definition of what a conflict is.

  • Module 1 - Causes of Conflicts in the Workplace

    This section introduces the learner to the course and looks at the definition of what a conflict is.

  • Module 2 - Conflict Management Styles and Techniques

    This section of the course covers the different styles and techniques of how to deal with a conflict professionally. It looks at the Thomas Kimann Conflict Model, as well as other techniques and crucial skills that are needed.

  • Module 3 - Preventing Conflict in the Workplace

    This final section covers why it is important to prevent conflict and how to put the foundations in place. Prevention is always easier than dealing with the issue at hand. This section of the course also looks at the importance of equality and diversity and the crucial role that the Equality Act 2010 plays.


Assessment

On completion of the course lessons and training material an online assessment will automatically unlock. The assessment will contain 15 multiple-choice questions and a mark of 75% or above will be required to pass.

The assessment will be marked instantly and so you will know straight away if you have passed or not. If you don't pass first time there's no need to worry. Unlimited resits at absolutely no additional charge are available so you can retake the assessment again as many times as you need to.
